 Thinking

Pajaro walked around his tree house. The old man sighed heavily. He looked out his window to all the tree's surrounding him. He saw a few fish swimming in the creek, a hawk circling over its pray, and many brightly colored insects flying around. He then looked around him. There were a few people in his tribe, but not many.

He sat down in an old wornout chair and looked around. Would his tribe grow? Would he get worriers to help him fight off the animals that hate humans? He would have to accept whatever came his way...

It was a sunny day. The rains hadn't started for over 3 hours. The sun hung like a jaguars eye in the bright blue sky. Polaris knew that climbing trees was a bad idea, if he didn't have a tree home himself, but he didn't care. Squawk would always catch him if he fell.

"I'm not so sure about this" said the macaw, who was flying above the 13 year old boy. "You could fall" he said, his orange beak shimmering in the light. "Relax" said the human boy, perfectly unafriad. "You can catch me". Squawk knew that he probably couldn't support the boys wieght, but he didn't want to dissapoint the young orphan.

Climbing higher and higher, Polaris was used to climbing. He and his parents used to live in a tree home: That was, before they were taken by anacondas. That was when Squawk and Caww: His adopted macaw parents, raised him like one of their own. Now, Polaris thought himself more macaw than human, but that was okay.

Climbing yet higher, Polaris saw Pajaro, the great leader of the Ani people. Polaris hadn't thought of this before: Maybe Parjaro could help him of his quest to find a human family. "Oh great leader" said Polaris. "Good morning".

Pajaro looked out his window and smiled at the boy.

Good morning Polaris. What are you doing up in that tree?

The old man saw the macaw flying above the boy. Hello Squawk, are you having a nice flight?
